Nestled on the peaks of Saint-Irénée, a quaint village situated between Baie-Saint-Paul and La Malbaie on pitturesque Road 362, lies a pottery studio which has attracted visitors since 1985. It presents in exclusivity the works of Joan DeBlois and Stéphane Bouchard, consisting of Raku (Japanese low-fire pottery technique), functional pottery and a contemporary urban collection in the Parallèle boutique. An art gallery also exhibits Marc DeBlois’ recent works. For the pleasure of visitors, the artists are frequently at work in the studio.
A considerable and diversified collection of functional pottery which can withstand the microwave, the conventional oven, broiler, dishwasher and freezer.
A contemporary urban collection comprised of unique porcelain works as well as a selection of decorative accessories and signature gift ideas (glass, metal…).
An art gallery also exhibits Marc DeBlois’ recent works. This painter’s powerful brushstroke reveals a compelling composition and a spacious imagination. His works are captivating for those seeking both depth of image and «bold colours».
