Marc DeBlois was born in Sillery, Quebec in 1943.
Marc DeBlois completed an extensive formation in Design and later took studies in Marketing at the University of Ottawa. Over a ten year period, he had an active career as designer of men's clothing in both North America and Europe.
Marc DeBlois lives in Saint-Irénée, Charlevoix, since 1985. His early work was porcelain sculptures which are now coveted by collectors. Painting is presently his passion and has matured in the series of vibrant colors, forms and light.
